the Fashionable Force behind Pawsitively Posh?
Joyce with her loving dog, Miles
Winner of numerous Industry Awards throughout her design career, Joyce has had a life-long affair with fashion. A mother of three, and owner of one mischievous dog, Miles, she draws inspiration from everyday dog experiences and a great love of fashion. From conceptual design through developing prototypes and into production, her scrupulous eye for detail gives a product that special touch needed for success.
Joyce attended the prestigious Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, as well as Philadelphia College of Art, and Penn State, where she discovered her fascination with form and fashion. She began her award-winning design career at The Franklin Mint where, for over 15 years, Joyce perfected her craft by designing successful collectible dolls, Faberge eggs, stunning designer jewelry, and other high-end precious works of art.
Her desire to create beautiful and fashionable products soon lead her to Georgetown Collection, where she was the driving force in the development of an extensive line of highly successful products in the collectibles industry, as well as a QVC spokeswoman and sculptor. Joyce has also designed for Lenox, Goebel Corporation, Bath & Bodyworks, and Bandai. She has lectured on dollmaking in Russia, and has traveled extensively in her search for beautiful designs and collectibles - from Taiwan and Malaysia to Russia and Germany.
Miles, Joyce's playful Chihuahua mix, plays a prominent role in her family's life and is truly an inspiration for the Pawsitively Posh accessories line. He has truly been a blessing, at least when he's not getting into trouble.
Her well thought out, beautiful designs are sure to become cherished additions to your home and a loving reminder of the importance of the special pets in your life.
